Blenko 968 Amber Chianti Jug Winslow Anderson Hand Blown Glass 1950s

Designed by Winslow Anderson for Blenko in the 1950s, the #968 Chianti Jug reflects the clean, sculptural forms that defined the company's early modern aesthetic. Crafted in Blenko's original Amber glass, it features a rounded body, elongated neck, applied handle, and pinched pouring lip. Originally offered with a cork stopper, most examples have become separated from the stopper over time, making its absence typical.  Measurements: • Height: 16 • Width: 6.5  Very good vintage condition. The original cork stopper is not included. No chips or cracks observed. Light shelf wear and surface scratching to the base consistent with age and use. Typical hand-blown manufacturing characteristics, including a rough pontil mark and small bubbles, are present and consistent with vintage Blenko production.
